The Cambridge Centre for Evidence-Based Policing has created tailored Cambridge learning for police personnel, developed by the founder of Evidence-Based Policing, Professor Lawrence Sherman.

The online course offering includes online 1-to-1 sessions with a Cambridge tutor, 
providing closer supervision than in-person courses.

Abstraction of staff for training poses a major issue for law enforcement agencies around the world.
Rather than spending 5 days + travel to attend a course in person, the online offering enables learners to complete the course from their own desks, working flexibly around their operational requirements, within a 5-week time period.
This perfectly balances the need to maintain adequate staffing levels with the need for up-skilling employees.
